Sometimes we turn to who will
Sometimes they might not fit the bill
Sometimes when it is rough
We do find someone who is tough
When people search and are in need
They find you and know you will lead
When unknowing gripes with fear
Comfort is felt when you are near
When darkness surrounds the young
You are the light that is sprung
When support seems so distant
Your strength is persistent
Your own fears you block from view
Because you remember others need you
