Things done wrong


What have I done wrong
The list seems to grow
I should have stood strong
I should have let more show
I should be taking you to the beach
Sitting out in the sun
We should volunteer and give reach
I should have known you would have fun
I should have built a bench in the yard
Sitting and talking for hours
I let the piano thought die hard
I should have let it devour
We should sit and compose
I think it good be grand
Not going with you puts me in throes
I didn’t know you needed my hand
So many things I did blow
Assumptions yet again wrong
Most times my uptake is slow
Knowing, I feel more we belong
So many things will I change
Talking more the number one
More together we both like I’ll arrange
I am sorry we missed so much fun
