I Watch You When You Sleep
This is a poem that came out while I was thinking of my love. She often wondered why I
was always so tired. Every night I spent at least an hour at a couple
parts of the night just watching her sleep and thinking about how much I love her.



I watch you when you sleep
For hours on end I do peek
Every detail is in my mind
Just in case I were to go blind
Most beautiful to me you are
In my dreams you visit me from far
I watch you when you sleep
A vision of you I must keep
Never a day do I want to be away
You face leads me to stay
Every inch I have in my mind
It is the face I wanted to find
I watch you when you sleep
My love for you goes very deep
Forever and then it will grow
For always and ever it will show
Right out front for all to see
You and me we should always be
I watch you when you sleep
It is why I now take this leap
