Ever wonder why they become
Pouring out one after one
Directly from my heart through my head
Telling you how I feel must be fed
Writings of my love to you
Love I need you to view
Writings of caring so strong
Caring I have had for so long
Some filled with pain we have caused
Pain that sometimes while writing gives pause
Writings that many times are filled with tears
Other times trying to fight my fears
Writings of words I would use on the phone
Trying to show what if I came home
Writings I hope bring you smiles
That may cause you to think awhile
Writings of times we have had
Perfect by no means but far more good than bad
Writings that sometimes I will sing
Even though I feel foolish and strange doing such a thing
Everything and anything to view
My heart and soul open and vulnerable to you
I think I write these in hopes they become glue
I know they become due to love and feelings so true
