On This Day Please Remember
I wrote this poem because my friend and love was feeling
bad around the anniversary of losing a couple of
special people in her life.

On this day so sad and blue
please remember you have a friend that is true

On this day if you frown for what is lost
please remember your friend will help at any cost

On this day if your heart starts to tug
please remember your friend is there to hug

On this day if your eyes start to tear
please remember your friend is near

On this day if you feel cold
please remember your friend's hand to hold

On this day if it starts to hurt awhile
please remember the good and smile

On this day if your breath starts to gasp
please remember a story and laugh

On this day so sad and blue
please remember others may need you
