Helpless and Alone
I wrote this poem because my friend and love I believe was feeling this way
and its the best way I know how to tell my friend I am there.

For my friend and love

Two terrible feelings, hide light from being shone
Enemies of the heart and the soul, enemies of friends
Unaccompanied, this journey is dangerous and destructive
Support, love and friendship, these two feelings will misdirect
Aid, happiness, and laughter, these two feelings will hide
Anger, misunderstanding and scorn prosper and grow
Disapproval, consternation and despair spread and flourish
Sadness comes to those close, contagious these two feelings are
Allowance for the willing must be granted
Conflict against these two feelings must be advanced and secured
Yield to these two feelings your friend must not permit
Observation from a distance your friend must not allow
Security and safety your friend must grant
With you this journey, your friend must partake
Enemies of these two feelings, your friend must become
Helpless and alone, your friend must not allow
Battle alongside your friend for your heart and soul
Battle alongside your friend for who you once were
Battle alongside your friend for the love you had
Allow your friend in you must, helpless and alone, you will be no more
