Depression, has taken from two
Not strong enough
Fueled by distrust and fear
Failed to see it was there
Failed to protect and make safe
Powerless to get love back
Help, told can not
Watch it destroy two close
Heart closes more and slowly shuts down
Pain being away great
Tears shed nightly, drown
Absorb pain two to one
Great injury foreseen
Scarlet letter forced to wear
Alone empty soul, creates
Death of one, generates
End without beginning result
Hatred and shame rule soul
Worthless and bitter produced
Failure has become great
Depression, destruction commence
